Character Information
Karen Page is the former office manager, turned investigative journalist, turned named member of Nelson, Murdock, and Page. Karen moved to New York only a few years prior, immediately finding herself caught in the crosshairs of the darker side of the city. If she hadn't met Matthew Murdock and Franklin "Foggy" Nelson, there is no doubt that she would be dead. Instead, she did meet the newly-lawyered due, and found herself an integral part of the world of Hell's Kitchen- the good, the bad, and the ugly. She is a woman who is stubborn beyond all belief, and cannot extricate herself from her own belief system that good people do make mistakes, and deserve second chances, whether or not they believe it themselves, and that bad people, truly evil people, do exist and deserve to meet their own consequences, however that works. This has landed her in complicated places, crossing paths with the worst of the worst, as well as some of the most incredible people the world has ever known. Because while she has seen the good in others, she has also seen the bad - there's a reason she keeps a gun in her purse that she knows how to use, after all. She feels deeply, strongly, and big, which tends to wreak havoc on her empathy-levels, but you can add that to the list of things she will not give up.

On a more first-impression level, she's a friendly and kind girl from a small town in Vermont who likes people, believes in the good in them, and who may or may not have a little bit of a party side. She has been through some shit, more than a little, but that won't stop her from doing what she can for those she cares about most. She likes a good drink, might have a bit of a party side, and when she can - a nice pair of mid-sized heels and a pencil skirt, though those last two might be a bit difficult to find around Panorama.
Appearance
The Karen Page pre-Diadem enjoyed a fairly decent business-casual wardrobe - with sensible pumps, pencil skirts, long coats, and reasonably nice blouses. Though that has a lot to do with the fact at the time she'd been working at a defense attorney's office as a named owner, but since her arrival, that wardrobe has shifted (somewhat) drastically.

These days she is much more interested in a more realistic wardrobe - jeans, boots, flannels, and a lightweight jacket. Some of it fits, some of it is a little baggy, but that will have a lot more to do with what she can find and what is cheapest at the time.

Her hair is long, blonde, and straight - often up in a bun or pulled half-back from her face, though it is not unheard of for her to leave it down around her shoulders. She isn't really focused on styling it much these days beyond keeping it brushed and clean, though she wouldn't say no if there happened to be a blowdryer or curling iron close by.

She doesn't have much in terms of make-up, or even the energy to try in that department - which means that more often than not she's a little tired-looking, a little like she's doing her best just to make it to work and keep it going. She has a couple of moles and a couple of freckles, though they aren't numerous by any means, and the only item from home that you might notice is the thin gold chain of a necklace she tends to keep tucked in her shirt - a gem, surrounded by very small diamonds - though it's unlikely you'll see it unless you go looking for it. It's precious, and not something she tends to leave out in the open.
Skills & Abilities
At the heart of things, Karen Page really is just a girl - human, with no incredible abilities or enhancements. Her skill set is more of the 'determination and willpower' variety, so much that she is stubborn, and will not let things go. She's an incredibly skilled investigator when she sets her mind to it, and her curiosity is something that is somehow both a blessing and a curse. She is organized, knows a bit about managing an office space and a business, and can adapt to most things if given the time to learn. She's a halfway decent waitress, an even better journalist, and not a terrible shot, either, though she'd hardly call herself skilled. More like trained, just as she is supposed to be in order to keep up her New York State concealed carry license.
